定语从句，我们从初中开始接触，并且在高中彻底相识。定语从句到底有多重要呢？

历年高考的英语考试，短文填空（15分）短文改错（10分）至少有一空都和定语从句有关。我们往往会纠结到底是填that还是填which，又或是填who还是whose。既然年年有，那么知悦这里一定是有干货哒。

这是我们高中需要掌握的主要内容，事实上高考考的内容并不多，其主要考点是引导词的用法。

注意啦！注意啦!干货要来啦!

一、只能用that作为引导词。

1.先行词为数量代词。

注意词组：none,any,(a) few/little,some,most,all,much,many,half,so percent,one of等

例：She did all that she could to help me.

2.先行词有no/every+名词

例：There is no difficult that we can't smooth away.

3.先行词有不定代词

注意词组：nothing,anything,someting,everything

例：Is there anything that you want to ask me?

4.先行词被最高级和序数词修饰

注意词组：the last....,the next....

例：This is the first time that I have been aboard.

You are the last person that I want to see.

5.先行词为基数词

例:4 and 4 makes 8 that is a lucky number in China.

6.先行词被语气助词修饰

注意词组：the just,the very,the only,the right.....(均表示只是，就是。也可不翻译）

例：This is the very book that I have been looking for.

He is the right man that is fit for the job.

7.先行词既指人又指物

例：He still remember the people and things that he has seen in the coutry.

8.引导词在从句中作表语

例：He is quite different from the man that he used ti be.

9.先行词在句中作表语

例：This is the dictionary that was bought in the bookstore yestersday.

二、只能用which做引导词

1.引导词前有介词

例：This is the house in which we once lived

2.非限制性定语从句(注意逗号）

例：He dose badly in study,which makes his parents upset.

3.先行词为that

例：What is that which flashing in the sky just now?

4.先行词被介词短语，插入语，同位语等分开

三、定语从句的特殊用法及对比

1.from where,since then

例：He stood at the north window,from where he could see the whole garden.

He moved to Beijing in 2008,since when I have mever heard from him.

2.who,which在疑问句里用that

例：Which is the novel that you like best?

Who is the person that is seated there?

3.特殊先行词存在时，引用词用where

注意词组：case,condition,situation,position,point,stage等

例：There are some cases where the rules can't be followed.

I'll show you the point where you fail.

He had to face the condition where presure was heavy.

We have come to the position where we must make the best efforts to overcome the great difficulty.

4.as引导的定语从句

例：As we all know,Taiwan belongs to China.——方式状语从句

Taiwan,as we all know,belongs to China.——插入语

Taiwan belongs to China,as we all know.——定语从句（as可换为which)

The building is being built smoothly,as (has been)planed.——方式状语从句

5.先行词被so,such,the same修饰时，用as

例：Take as many books as you like.

Don't read such books as you can't understand.

I'll buy the same cellphone as you have.
